Mobile Household Waste Centre

The MHWC will be in Moseley or adjoining wards on the following dates:

• Residents are advised to arrive at the MHWC 15 minutes before the end to allow time for vehicles to be unloaded before the crew need to leave site.
• No commercial waste can legally be accepted at any of the MHWC’s and any such material will be turned away. Vans are accepted at the MHWC’s subject to a 10 item limitation and a legal declaration that the waste presented is not commercial in nature. 2 black bags equals 1 item.
• BCC Housing vehicles/crews and private housing associations are not permitted to use the MHWC.
• The MHWC’s will accept general household waste including small items of furniture, mattresses etc. Please note this all goes to the incinerator.
• Garden waste and recyclables are accepted but all also goes to the incinerator.
• The crew are not able to take reusable items to the Re-Use centre
