Refugees always welcome in Brum

Refugees are welcome here in Birmingham. Moseley Forum was the first community organisation to endorse the campaign for Birmingham to become a City of Sanctuary in 2015. The West’s failure to effectively state-build and safeguard citizens in Afghanistan is something that we must take responsibility for. And we as a city must do our bit and be more ambitious in providing humanitarian relief to the citizens of Afghanistan. It’s good to see Birmingham City Council discussing how we can combine our efforts to help Afghan refugees at this difficult time.
